Crandall Rollers
Crandall cast alloy iron rollers are specially designed to give high strength and good surface toughness. Rigid manufacturing tolerances assure diametral uniformity and fine quality castings which provide low-friction, smooth rolling and excellent wearability.
Note: Occasionally shipyards use cast steel rollers. Although not usually recommended due to extreme hardness which results in rail plate milling, Crandall can supply cast steel rollers upon request.
